Privacy
Short version: we store what the site needs to work, we never sell it, and you can delete all of it from settings in one click.
What we store
- Account: email, display name, handle, and an optional bio and location that you choose to publish.
- Your activity: votes, reviews, replies, discussions, saved tools, and follows. Reviews and discussions are public by design.
- Anti-fraud fingerprints: a one-way hash of the IP address and browser string attached to each vote. We do not store raw IP addresses, and the hash cannot be reversed into one.
- Session cookies: one for sign-in, one for your light or dark theme preference. No third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
What we never do
We do not sell personal data, we do not run ad-network trackers, and we do not accept payment to change a score.
Notification emails are strictly opt in, per type, from settings. The weekly digest defaults to off. Every digest has an unsubscribe link that writes straight back to your preferences.
Deleting your account
The danger zone in settings deletes your account immediately, along with your votes, saved tools, follows, notifications, and preferences. Deletion is irreversible.
